The Keep Club London

Following the death of the unmarried Queen Elizabeth I in 1603, James VI of Scotland relocated his court to London and became James I of England, settling inside the Royal Palace in Greenwich. Shortly after, golf was played in England. Blackheath provided the ideal playing conditions for the golfers who were said to have been members of his royal entourage. There are about 1,900 golf clubs in England, and 700,000 golfers are members of those clubs. The number of golf courses in England exceeds that of Scotland, Wales, and Ireland combined.

There are about 1,900 golf clubs in England, and 700,000 golfers are members of those clubs. The number of golf courses in England exceeds that of Scotland, Wales, and Ireland combined. The great majority of international golf tourists skip England altogether in favour of Scotland and Ireland, even though the geographical diversity of England's golf courses is perhaps unparalleled anywhere. We want to establish a golf club in close proximity to London so that our members and guests may enjoy the finest golfing experience while also enjoying easy access to the centre of the city.
