IT IS ALL ABOUT ONE WORD: BESPOKE

Furnishing a new home has never been easier, with so much choice whether it is buying exclusively online or at a boutique shop that you so happen to pass by. Although having lots of options is great, it does mean that the majority of what is available becomes rather bland. If you have spent £5 million on a new home, placing furniture from say IKEA is not really an option, not that there is anything wrong with IKEA. The amount of furniture I have put together from the brand, I feel like they should give me a 'Degree in IKEA Building'. No, what I mean is, when you spend a significant amount of money on a property, you should follow through with pieces that reflect you as a person and of course your new home too.

Simply put; you need to go bespoke. There is no better way to impress yourself, family and or guests than getting a piece of furniture that you have had built to your own style, whether it is a dining room table, coffee table to chairs. There will also come a time when you will want or need to sell the property that you have just bought and it is so important that when potential buyers visit the property that they see real value and style, it can make a big difference to the overall property value. I know this from personal experience.

Here are my favorite pieces from our Club partner DAVIDSON LONDON. This is a brand that has been both designing and building furniture since 1986 and to this day remains truly family owned British brand. I have selected a single piece that I absolutely love and hopefully give you some inspiration to taking the step to commissioning your own pieces.
