‘REINVENTED & REIMAGINED’
Mandarin Oriental, one of the most luxurious hotel brands in the world a few days ago celebrated the relaunch of their refurbished hotel on Hyde Park, London. The hotel welcomed six hundred guests including celebrities, dignitaries and society guests from London and around the world. Some of the guests included Dame Helen Mirren, Liam Neeson, Barry Humphries, Sir Clive Woodward and Vanessa Mae.
In true London fashion, guests arrived on the Red Carpet through the hotels Royal Entrance on South Carriage Drive greeted by The London Fanfare Trumpeters and members of The Household Cavalry Regiment, against a backdrop of Union Jack regalia. The atmosphere of pomp and ceremony continued into the Ballroom, with ribbon dancers and entertainers dressed in elaborate costume inspired by the iconic Mandarin ‘Fan’.

Entertaining the guests on the night were Jack Pack, Soul and RnB singer Beverley Knight MBE and the MOBO award winner Lemar. In addition were live DJs, DJ Joel and DJ Charles.
On the night guests sampled a range of delights which were curated by Dinner By Heston Blumenthal and Bar Boulud London as well as, Petrossian Caviar and Moet et Chandon Impérial, Brut champagne.
This is the most extensive restoration in the hotels 117-year history.
